Knoxville Historic District
Central Cinema is Knoxville’s only independent movie theater, offering a steady lineup of popular favorites, cult classics and first-run indie exclusives in addition to regular live comedy shows and range of community-centered special events. Owned and operated since 2018 by the creators of the long-running Knoxville Horror Film Fest, the single screen theater also offers books, records & home video, a wide beer selection and (allegedly) the best popcorn in town, all wrapped up in a vibe of pop cultural nostalgia and deep enthusiasm for the moviegoing experience.

Hours vary day to day but: we are open seven nights a week plus Saturday & Sunday afternoons.
Doors open 30 minutes before the first showtime of the day.

@theblackdogknoxville opened their doors Monday, February 23rd, serving up killer gastropub bites, craft cocktails, and Black Dog brews. This 70s inspired neighborhood brewery is destined to be one of your new go-tos.

Waynestock is back for three nights of live rock ’n’ roll at @relix_brookside_knoxville in Happy Holler.
Featuring a lineup of local favorites and fresh faces, this all-ages event blends great music with a greater purpose. This year’s proceeds benefit Centro Hispano and their Family Preparedness and legal clinic programs serving Knoxville families.
$10 entry, raffle prizes, and a weekend built on community.
